Dear Neighbors and Future Guests, 

A bit of news: We’re preparing to bring a new restaurant to 2 Church Ave. in Germantown, NY. 

You may have been there before, during the nine years it was the excellent and much-loved Gaskins. We intend to resume what made our predecessor special: a commitment to our community, our clientele, and the kind of team that makes excellence possible. 

Introducing Nines: a warm, unfussy restaurant focused on quality food and drink, excellent service, comfort, and ease. The menu will take an exploratory and classic approach, referencing the Riviera (both the French and Italian, but especially the Italian) and the agriculture that surrounds us here in our Columbia County neighborhood.

Over the next two months, the dining room will undergo a renovation to give Nines a look and feel of its own, though we are delighted to be able to renew and sustain so many of the elements already here, and we look forward to being thoughtful stewards of this historic building.

We know many of you miss having an additional inviting and well-executed restaurant destination in the heart of Germantown. You’ll have one soon, and we’re as excited as you are. We can’t wait to welcome all of you, old friends and new, and join Central House and Otto’s in Germantown’s expanding restaurant ecosystem.
